Thread Gauges

The Thread Gauges also known as a thread gage or thread pitch gauge, checks the thread size and pitch diameter of fasteners, pipes, and other threaded parts. It is used to conduct a qualitative test on components manufactured against a given thread standard. A thread plug gauge is used to check acceptance of a nut i.e. an internally threaded part. For small threaded parts, the gauge will be double ended. Thread plug gages are used to check tolerances of threaded parts according to a certain specification.
